Resource Guide

Healthy Haralson’s community resource guide lists programs and services available to Haralson County residents. Available resources include child and adult care, education and training, physical and mental health services, protective services, substance misuse resources and more. The guide also includes services for residents who need help with basic necessities such as food, shelter and utilities.

First and third Mondays, 6 to 7:30 p.m., household items, clothes, toys and books. Emergency services are available upon request for burned homes, domestic violence cases, foster parents, etc. School and jobs help. Storytime with children. Coupon classes are available upon request.

Food distribution hours are on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Must complete an application process and fit income guidelines to receive assistance. Applications/renewal/Lost or forgotten ID cards will be taken on Tuesdays from 9:15 a.m.  to 12:15 p.m. or 4:15 to 6:15 p.m. Photo Identification and a Social Security or tax identification number are required for the application process. A $10 share contribution is asked at each food pick-up visit.
