Get Healthy, Live Well offers classes designed to help community members locate sources for fresh, local foods and learn hands-on cooking skills to prepare delicious, healthy meals at home.

Our Free Classes

Cooking Matters

Learn how to prepare healthy, tasty meals on a limited budget. Through a six-week series of classes, learn hands-on techniques from Cooking Matters-certified educators. Nutrition educators and class assistants share their time and expertise to show adults, teens and kids how to shop for and prepare nutritious foods. Carb Counting

This free class empowers you to take control of your blood sugar by understanding how carbohydrates affect your body, how to identify and avoid carb-rich foods, what foods can lower blood sugar and more.
