Too cold, hot or rainy to take your walking routine outdoors? There are gyms in the region where you can walk indoors at no cost.

Carroll County

• East Carrollton Recreation Center
  Recreation Center Monday, Wednesday and Friday | 10 to 11:30 a.m.
•  Gold Dust Park
  Villa Rica - Monday-Thursday | 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• The Life Center at Tabernacle Baptist Church
  Carrollton - Monday and Friday | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Tuesday-Thursday | 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m.Saturday | 9 to 10:30 a.m.
• Temple Parks and Recreation 
  Temple - Monday-Thursday | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Haralson County

• Bremen Parks and Recreation
  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday | 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday | 8 a.m. to noon 
• Haralson County Recreation Department – Buchanan
  Monday-Friday | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Heard County

• Heard County Parks and Recreation – Franklin
  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

* Gyms could be in use for basketball games from November through February, so check for evening availability.
