Way better than my previous general provider.

Provider listened and went over all options. Provider very knowledgeable. Provider wanted to try new medication but after taking the time to research it it would not work with medications I am on. Thus is a very good thing that she is professional and knowledgeable to check medications interactions before just prescribing.

A new method for optimizing results from a current prescription was suggested. I found it a little confusing, Dr Eubanks recommendation was apropos, but my understanding was slow, so perhaps something in writing could have helped me to remember the steps we would take to affect the change. I will be calling to clarify.

Dr Amy Eubanks is the best PCP I've ever had! I wouldn't go to anyone else. If she wasn't on my insurance, I'd pay out of pocket to see her! She spends time with you and makes sure to cover all your concerns. She knows who I am and my conditions, etc before (and without) logging into her computer. Of course she has to eventually do so, but she engages with me prior to that, so I know she is more than familiar with me as a patient. She asks me about family and how I am. She makes me feel "at home" in a Dr's office, which is hard to do these days. She definitely gives the small town feel of a doctors office. Is the kind of feel we used to have decades ago. I have not found that anywhere else. I would not leave Dr. Eubanks and if we moved, I would drive miles to see her!

The doctor informed me that he would be recording what I had to say that was fine. I found that very refreshing why because this time he was paying attention to me as the patient and not typing on the computer as before I always felt he was not really listening, but this was a breath of fresh air so to speak I had been thinking of changing doctors, but after this, I will consider keeping him. I'm glad he's gone with the recordings. I knew many doctors were doing this. It helps speed up the time that we wait and wait while he typed

My doctor seemed rushed. I was talking to him, and he just walked out of the room. Like that was his way of ending the visit. He didn't ask If I had questions. His directions were unclear, so I had to follow up with a my chart message. The directions he gave me didn't match what the prescription says. I had other concerns that I wanted to discuss, and he didn't even give me the opportunity. It wasn't a long visit either. I don't know if I'll be back or find a new pcp. This was my second time seeing him, and this was the opposite experience compared to my first visit. He was very dismissive.
