Amerigroup Insurance Update

Tanner Health System will continue to participate in the Amerigroup health plan.

The health system’s participation had been set to expire on Jan. 1, 2024.

However, continued negotiations between the health system and Amerigroup yielded an agreement that will continue Tanner’s participation with Amerigroup.

This means Amerigroup plan members can avoid interruptions in their care and continue using Tanner providers, facilities and services as before.

What do I need to do?

If you are an Amerigroup plan member and have arranged to move your care to another participating provider, you may move it back to Tanner.

If you need to make an appointment or inquiry, please refer to the list of facilities, services and practices below.

Braces and Splints for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Members of the Caregiving Cycle: The Family Caregivers

Acting as a caregiver for a family member can be a rewarding experience, allowing you to spend time and care for someone you love. Caregiving covers a range of situations from those who just need a little extra help caring for themselves to those who are undergoing things such as surgery recovery, cancer treatment and terminal illness. No matter what your role is, one important factor that is often overlooked is who takes care of the caregiver.
