Howard became president and CEO of Tanner Health System in 1994. He previously served as the CEO and CFO of the Union Hospital District in South Carolina.
A recognized community leader, Howard has served as chairman of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and has received numerous awards, including Georgia Hospital Association’s Chairman Award in 2014, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce's Citizen of the Year award in 2008, the chamber's Horizon Award in 2002 and the Visionary Award from the Follow Me Foundation in 2000.

As the enterprise chief medical officer and chief quality officer at Tanner Health System, Dr. Camp oversees medical staff services and credentialing of medical staff, as well as case management, clinical documentation, risk management, clinical integration, and data and analytics services. He also serves as Tanner’s lead physician accountability officer. Board-certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Camp earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine, completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Dartmouth Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Colorado/Denver General Hospital.

For more than 25 years, Crews has served the community through her many positions at Tanner Health System. As enterprise CFO of Tanner, she oversees all business-related activity for the system, including budgets, audits and governmental filings. Her responsibilities also include accounting, payroll, patient financial services, patient registration and scheduling, health information management and revenue integrity. Crews earned her bachelor's in business administration and accounting from the University of West Georgia and later became a certified public accountant. She is a member of the west Georgia chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Georgia Hospital Association.

Griffith has served in leading healthcare systems for more than 25 years. He now leads Tanner Health System’s hospital division and is responsible for facilities performance, service line advancement, nursing and clinical departments, human resources, patient experience and employee engagement. Griffith most recently served as the COO at El Camino Health in Mountain View, California. Prior to El Camino Health, Griffith served as the COO at Tanner. He was also the COO at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System in Salinas, California. Griffith grew up in Chattanooga and earned his bachelor’s in speech communications from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his master’s in business administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Promoted to senior vice president and chief nursing officer for Tanner Health System in 2014, Matthews focuses on professional nursing that positively impacts patient care. She is dedicated to utilizing caring staff, collaboration and best practices to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction. In 1985, Matthews joined Tanner Health System as a charge nurse. She was named director of nursing at Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica in 1996. Beginning in 2007, she served as administrator of Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica and then as administrator of Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton. Before being named senior vice president, she also became part of the charter dyad as lead administrative accountability officer in 2012.

After serving as COO of Greenway Health, Schulenburg joined Tanner in 2017 as chief information officer (CIO). In addition to CIO duties, he is also responsible for Tanner Medical Group, managed care, physician recruitment, compliance and facilities construction. Having earned a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Georgia, Schulenberg previously managed projects for Prudential Bank, National Support and NationsBank. In addition to his ambulatory division responsibilities at Tanner, he is a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Carroll County and an active member of Habitat for Humanity.

 

Wayne Senfeld

Executive Vice President, Behavioral Health
Tanner Health System
Promoted to senior vice president of behavioral health and business development in 2012, Senfeld is responsible for Willowbrooke at Tanner’s inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. He received a 2012 GHA Healthcare Heroes Award for his rigorous advocacy of patient care in the area of mental health, along with his outstanding progress in behavioral health program growth in the west Georgia area. Senfeld joined the Tanner team in 1998 as a program manager and served in various positions before becoming the administrator of Willowbrooke at Tanner in 2008. Senfeld has since earned GHA’s Community Leadership Award and was elected to the Georgia Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees. He currently serves as the GHA’s board chair for the Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Division committee and on Georgia's Behavioral Health Reform and Innovation Commission.

As the chief medical information officer for Tanner Health System, Dr. Boles provides leadership and vision for the optimization of the Epic platform and serves as the bridge between technology and clinical care delivery within all facilities. She is responsible for data governance to enhance data driven process change leading to more efficient, effective care delivery. Board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine, Dr. Boles earned her medical degree from Emory University. She completed internship, residency and fellowship at Emory University and received her executive MBA from Auburn University.

 

Eric Dalton

As the senior vice president for hospital operations, Dalton oversees the daily operations of Tanner Health System's acute care campuses. He is responsible for these departments: campus and support services, clinical engineering, EVS, lab, nutritional services, respiratory, pharmacy and security. He most recently served as vice president of clinical program development and administrator for Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica. Prior to Tanner, he was service line administrator for Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he had responsibility for developing their initial service line structure. He has also served as administrative director of orthopedics for the Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System, a three-hospital health system. Dalton holds a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from James Madison University and master’s degree in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University..

Dill oversees all community development efforts for Tanner Health System, and also manages the system's philanthropic Foundation and legislative advocacy efforts. Prior to joining Tanner, Dill spent 17 years in corporate and industrial business development and recruitment as an economic development senior executive in several Georgia communities, as well as the Chief Operating Officer for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Prior to that he served as a Federal and State Lobbyist for Georgia Farm Bureau. Dill currently serves as the Chair of the Georgia Telecommunications Commission (GPB) and is the immediate past President of the University of Georgia Alumni Association. In addition, he serves on the Board of Governor’s for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, is a University of West Georgia Foundation Trustee, a REACH Georgia Foundation Development Board member and serves locally on the Carroll Tomorrow Economic Development Board. Dill holds a bachelor's in political science and an MBA from the University of Georgia.

 

Clint Hoffman

In addition to leading Tanner Medical Group, a multispecialty medical group that provides services throughout Northwest Georgia and East Alabama, Hoffman manages Tanner Urgent Care, Tanner Home Health and Tanner Hospice, and is responsible for supporting Tanner’s population health management initiatives. Prior to joining Tanner, he served in a dual role as chief administrative officer of physician integration and business development for Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (SVMHS) and as chief operating officer of Salinas Valley Medical Clinic, a 150-provider multispecialty group that operated as a component of SVMHS. Hoffman is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He received an MBA from San Diego State University and holds a bachelor's in telecommunication, multimedia and applied computing from California State University - Monterey Bay.
