Opened in 2017, the hospital’s construction was financed by a 1% sales tax approved by Randolph County’s voters. The 50,000-square-foot hospital features a 24-hour emergency department with eight exam rooms, 15 private inpatient beds, critical care support, on-site diagnostic imaging, an on-site modern laboratory, a state-of-the-art surgical suite, dining in the Tanner Café, a gift shop and more. Tanner Medical Center/East Alabama is certified as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital.

Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program, designed for patients who need additional care to help them recover before being discharged home or to a lower level of care such as an assisted living facility.
