Surgical care is coming to Randolph County as board-certified general surgeon David Griffin, MD, begins offering office hours and procedures at Tanner Medical Center/East Alabama.
Dr. Griffin will begin offering his services in Wedowee on June 23.
Dr. Griffin practices with Carrollton Surgical Group, part of Tanner Medical Group. He is board-certified in general surgery. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed his residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. Dr. Griffin performs a variety of procedures and surgeries, including robotic-assisted surgery at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.
Among the procedures that may be scheduled with Dr. Griffin at Tanner Medical Center/East Alabama are biopsies, breast surgery, colonoscopy, EGD, fissurectomy, hemorrhoidectomy, hernia repairs, port-a-cath insertions, skin excisions and more.
