Howard has served as president and CEO of Tanner Health since 1994. Under his leadership, Tanner has grown into a regional destination for health, serving Georgia and Alabama with five hospitals — including two critical access hospitals and a behavioral health hospital. Tanner Medical Group has grown to be one of the largest medical groups in metro Atlanta. Howard has had extensive state and community involvement. He is past chair of Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals, was selected by Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the Most Admired CEOs in 2022 and is a graduate of Leadership Georgia. In 2020, during Georgia Trend’s 35th Anniversary, Howard was one of 15 recognized as Legacy Leaders for his efforts in improving lives across the state. At the community level, he is co-founder of Carroll Tomorrow, an economic development and quality of life initiative, past chair of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, past chair of Oak Mountain Academy, and was the Chamber’s Citizen of the Year in 2008.

As the enterprise chief medical officer and chief quality officer at Tanner Health, Dr. Camp oversees medical staff services and credentialing of medical staff, as well as case management, clinical documentation, risk management, clinical integration, and data and analytics services. He also serves as Tanner’s lead physician accountability officer. Board-certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Camp earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine, completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Dartmouth Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Colorado/Denver General Hospital.

For more than 25 years, Crews has served the community through her many positions at Tanner Health. As enterprise CFO of Tanner, she oversees all business-related activity for the system, including budgets, audits and governmental filings. Her responsibilities also include accounting, payroll, human resources, benefits, patient financial services, patient registration and scheduling, health information management and revenue integrity. Crews earned her bachelor's in business administration and accounting from the University of West Georgia and later became a certified public accountant. She is a member of the west Georgia chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Georgia Hospital Association.

In his latest role with Tanner Health, all clinical hospital operations departments, including nursing, now report to Dalton. He most recently oversaw the daily operations of Tanner Health's acute care campuses as the senior vice president for hospital operations. He previously served as vice president of clinical program development and administrator for Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica. Prior to Tanner, he was service line administrator for Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he had responsibility for developing their initial service line structure. He has also served as administrative director of orthopedics for the Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System, a three-hospital health system. Dalton holds a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from James Madison University and master’s degree in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.

 

Clint Hoffman

Hoffman serves as chief strategy officer of Tanner Health, leading enterprise strategic planning and business development, and as executive vice president of Tanner Medical Group (TMG). In his role as executive vice president of TMG, he leads Tanner Medical Group, a multispecialty medical group serving northwest Georgia and east Alabama, Tanner Urgent Care, Tanner Home Health, and Tanner Hospice. He also leads Get Healthy, Live Well, Tanner’s population health and community wellness program. Prior to joining Tanner, he served in a dual role as chief administrative officer of physician integration and business development for Salinas Valley Health (SVH) and as chief operating officer of Salinas Valley Health Clinics, a 150-provider multispecialty group that operated as a component of SVH. Hoffman is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He received an MBA from San Diego State University and holds a bachelor's in telecommunication, multimedia and applied computing from California State University - Monterey Bay.

Schulenburg joined Tanner Health in 2018, where he serves as an executive vice president, chief administrative officer and chief information officer. He is responsible for campus and support services, including environmental services, food services, clinical engineering and security. He is also responsible for the system's marketing and public relations. Before joining Tanner, he was the chief operating officer at Greenway Medical Technologies, starting in 1998. Schulenburg received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia. He currently serves the community as a board member for the Carrollton City School System.

 

Wayne Senfeld

Tanner Health
Promoted to senior vice president of behavioral health and business development in 2012, Senfeld is responsible for Willowbrooke at Tanner’s inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. He received a 2012 GHA Healthcare Heroes Award for his rigorous advocacy of patient care in the area of mental health, along with his outstanding progress in behavioral health program growth in the west Georgia area. Senfeld joined the Tanner team in 1998 as a program manager and served in various positions before becoming the administrator of Willowbrooke at Tanner in 2008. Senfeld has since earned GHA’s Community Leadership Award and was elected to the Georgia Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees. He currently serves as the GHA’s board chair for the Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Division committee and on Georgia's Behavioral Health Reform and Innovation Commission.

Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

As the senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Anelli is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating human resource programs across Tanner Health. She serves as a liaison and catalyst for change with departmental leadership, operational managers and staff employees in human resource functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, communication and employment law, and compliance. She also serves as a key contributing member of the system HR leadership team and Tanner's senior leadership team, including engagement, strategic goals, initiatives and work plan. Prior to joining Tanner, Anelli served as the regional HR director for the midlands division of MUSC Health in Columbia, South Carolina. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation and has a passion for executive healthcare coaching. Anelli received an MBA from Liberty University and holds a bachelor's in business administration from Florida Gulf Coast University..

As the chief medical information officer for Tanner Health, Dr. Boles provides leadership and vision for the optimization of the Epic platform and serves as the bridge between technology and clinical care delivery within all facilities. She is responsible for data governance to enhance data driven process change leading to more efficient, effective care delivery. Board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine, Dr. Boles earned her medical degree from Emory University. She completed internship, residency and fellowship at Emory University and received her executive MBA from Auburn University.
