Meet the Polo Players

Galloping Goddesses

Noa C.S.

At just 14 years old, Noa C.S. is already making her mark in women’s polo. With eight years of riding experience, including more than four dedicated to polo, she regularly competes in USPA Women’s and Youth Tournaments across the Southeast and beyond. Known for her tenacious defense and growing offensive power, Noa brings grit and determination to every match. Alongside her first horse, a fearless Appaloosa named Lucy, she continues to train, travel, and set her sights on bigger goals in USPA women’s and junior polo.

Alicia Harden

Alicia Harden began playing polo at Colorado State University and has since built a distinguished career in the sport. Twice recognized with the USPA’s Clint Nangle Award for excellence in equine welfare, she is respected for both her horsemanship and her play. Alicia has competed across the U.S. and internationally in Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, and Guatemala, with highlights including victories at the Maserati World Cup Beach Polo and the Sweden-USA Invitational, where she was named MVP. She currently plays at the Atlanta Regional Polo Center and will soon compete out of her new barn in Wellington, Florida.

Lexi Wright

Lexi Wright is a determined competitor with deep roots in the Atlanta polo community. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she grew up helping her father with polo horses before forging her own path on the field. Her journey began in youth tournaments across the Southeast and has grown to include regional USPA women’s events and Atlanta club play. In addition to competing, Lexi has built a successful business in horse sales, pairing her sharp eye for talent with the same grit and determination she shows in competition.

Sydney Woolridge

Sydney Woolridge lives in Atlanta and has been playing polo for approximately five years.

The Poloticians

Megan Fleischutt

Megan Fleischutt is a 0-goal youth player with two years of polo experience. A proud member of the Starr Creek I/I Polo Team, she brings energy, focus and a strong sense of teamwork to every match. Outside of polo, Megan competes as a hunter/jumper rider and is active on her school’s equestrian team, reflecting her deep dedication to horses and competitive riding.

Mayson Kim

At 15, Mayson Kim has already gained international polo experience in just three years of playing. She recently returned from Argentina and traveled to England, where she competed in and won a 16-goal tournament alongside 10-goal professional Nina Clarkin. Known for her skill, composure and competitive spirit, Mayson continues to sharpen her game as she sets her sights on bigger opportunities in women’s polo.

Anja Jacobs

Since the early 2000s, Anja Jacobs has been a fixture in women’s polo as both a competitor and coach. She lives in Forsyth County, where she trains multiple high school and hunter/jumper teams, as well as the Morehouse College polo team alongside her fiancé, Aaron. Anja actively competes in elite women’s tournaments around the world, with career highlights including titles at the U.S. Women’s Open and the British Ladies National Championship, and she has ranked among the top 20 players on the Women’s World Polo Tour.

Kris Wooten

Kris Wooten discovered polo at the University of Virginia, where she played on the women’s varsity team before continuing her career in California and later Atlanta. Since 1995, she has been an active member of the Atlanta Polo Club and also spent a season competing in Sarasota’s 4-goal league. Beyond her playing career, she remains a strong supporter of Virginia Polo as a past chairman and current board member, continuing to give back to the program where her passion began.

Summer Kneece

Summer Kneece is a top-rated polo player from Aiken, South Carolina, following in the footsteps of her father, former professional Tiger Kneece. She won national interscholastic championships in 2021 and 2022 and began competing in the Women’s Weekly Polo League in 2025. Known for her ball control and offensive play, Kneece competes at the Aiken Polo Club and in women’s tournaments across the United States.

Jolie Liston

Jolie Liston began her polo journey at age 12 alongside her father at the Atlanta Polo Club and has grown into one of the sport’s leading figures in the Southeast. A veteran of multiple Women’s U.S. Open tournaments and the 2000 International Women’s Polo Association Player of the Year, she is both a fierce competitor and a tireless ambassador for the game. Liston has been instrumental in growing polo in Georgia by launching interscholastic and collegiate programs and now operates the Atlanta Regional Polo Center, where she continues to mentor players and promote the sport she has dedicated her life to.

Anna Palacios

Anna Winslow Palacios began riding at age 6 and started playing polo at 9 while competing for Garrison Forest School. She won a girls’ national title in 2011 and later captained the varsity women’s team at Cornell University, winning national titles in 2015 and 2016 while earning All-American honors all four years. A former member of Team USPA, she has claimed titles including the Women’s Arena Open in 2017 and the East Coast Women’s Open in 2018. Palacios now lives near Albany, New York, where she continues to train and grow her string of ponies.

Kylie Sheehan

Baltimore native Kylie Sheehan learned polo at Garrison Forest School and later competed for the University of Virginia. She co-founded the Women of Wellington Polo Series, has won the U.S. Women’s Open and recently earned titles at the East Coast Open, Midwest Open, Louise Hitchcock 14-Goal and the Maria Gracida. Sheehan runs Flying Cow Polo Club in Wellington and competes in Aiken, Wellington, Argentina and across the United States. She is currently rated at 5 goals in women’s polo and 1 goal in mixed polo.

Adams Farm

Reuben Coscia

Ruben Coscia, originally from Manzanares, Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina, came to the United States in 1988 as a high-goal groom and began playing professionally at the Atlanta Polo Club in 1990, reaching a 6-goal handicap. He has competed across the country in major tournaments, including the East Coast Open with Memo and Carlos Gracida, and was part of the 2007 Triple Crown win in Sarasota, Fla., along with other notable titles.

Oscar “Cacho” Acevedo

Oscar Acevedo, originally from Hurlingham, Buenos Aires, Argentina, grew up immersed in polo through his father’s work as a team manager. Over a career spanning more than 40 years, he has played internationally in Argentina, Italy, Colombia, and the United States. He now resides and works at Adams Farm in Carrollton, Georgia, and currently plays with a 2-goal handicap.

Wilson Esquivel Beteta

Wilson Esquivel Beteta, originally from Guatemala, was introduced to polo while working for a professional player in Palm Beach, Florida. After moving to Carrollton, Georgia, he trained under mentor Oscar Acevedo and has now been playing polo for about four years with a 0-goal handicap at the Atlanta Polo Club.

Alan Esquivel

Alan Esquivel is an 18-year-old senior at Mt. Zion High School. His passion for polo began while working as a groom, inspired by his father and other players. Alan now plays at the Atlanta Polo Club with a -0 goal handicap. His favorite horse, Snowflake, is known for her agility and spirited personality.
