What is infusion therapy?

Some patients require medication to be delivered intravenously instead of orally. The medication(s) are administered using a sterile catheter inserted into a vein and secured. This is called infusion therapy.

What is an infusion center?

An infusion center is an outpatient clinic that administers infusion therapy. These facilities have advanced infusion equipment, special and very comfortable furnishings for patients and staff who specialize in infusions.

What conditions and diseases are treated with infusion therapy?

In addition to cancer and blood diseases, Tanner's infusion centers are used by specialists to treat:

  • Blood diseases
  • Cancer
  • Crohn’s disease

  • And other conditions/diseases treated with infusions or injections

You will need a physician's order for infusion center services prior to your first appointment.
