Hemorrhoid Treatment

Effective, permanent hemorrhoid treatment is fast, painless and discretely available within the Carrollton Surgical Group practice with the CRH O’Regan System.

Painless, permanent hemorrhoid relief

Up to half of the population experiences hemorrhoids by age 50. Often, these can be treated with over-the-counter remedies — like creams, wipes and ointments.

These remedies help mask the pain, itching, burning and discomfort of hemorrhoids, but do not treat the cause.

At Carrollton Surgical Group, we offer an in-office hemorrhoid treatment that’s fast, painless and provides permanent relief.

With the CRH O’Regan System, our surgeons use a small amount of gentle suction to “lift” the hemorrhoid, then place a tiny rubber band around the base of the hemorrhoid. Since there are no nerve endings at the base of the hemorrhoid, the procedure is painless.

The procedure — also called hemorrhoid banding or rubber band ligation — is different from other treatments because the band is placed in such a way that it does not cause discomfort. No scalpel or incisions are needed.

In a day or two, the hemorrhoid will fall off. Most patients don’t even notice when the hemorrhoid falls off — they only notice the lasting relief.

Hemorrhoid treatment in west Georgia

We make hemorrhoid treatment easy and accessible for our neighbors in west Georgia and east Alabama.

Discreet, in-office hemorrhoid treatment is available at our offices in Carrollton, Villa Rica and Bremen.

Since the procedure can be done by a surgeon in the office, you can avoid a trip to the hospital and go home immediately after the banding is complete.
