Justin Lovvorn, MD, Joins Tanner Primary Care of Wedowee

Tanner Health System has expanded access to primary care medical services as Justin Lovvorn, MD, joins the patient care team at Tanner Primary Care of Wedowee, a Tanner Medical Group practice.
Dr. Lovvorn is board-certified in family medicine. A native of Ranburne, he earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and completed his residency in family practice at University of Alabama-Birmingham Family Medicine on the organization’s Huntsville campus.
At Tanner Primary Care of Wedowee, Dr. Lovvorn joins the patient care team of Kimberly Buckalew, NP-C; Shanda Cotney, NP-C; and Ricky Daniel, FNP-C. He will continue the practice’s focus on wellness and providing care for the whole person, including prevention, management of chronic conditions and diseases, geriatrics and much more.
As part of Tanner Medical Group, Tanner Primary Care of Wedowee has access to all the resources of Tanner Health System. Along will sick and wellness appointments, the practice offers walk-in care for minor medical emergencies. Tanner Primary Care of Wedowee is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Along with Tanner Primary Care of Wedowee, Dr. Lovvorn will also continue to offer some appointments at Tanner Medical Group’s West Carroll Family Medicine in Bowdon, Ga., where he has practiced since 2009.
