This webinar focuses on systemic approaches to supporting couples and families in therapy. This presentation includes an overview of family therapy concepts and models, ethical and multicultural considerations in family therapy, and systemic interventions used in family therapy. The presentation also provides several case vignettes that illustrate issues presented in family therapy and highlights the diversity in families today and the need for multiculturally competent family therapists. About the Speaker

Justin C. Muller, Ph.D., LMFT, is an assistant professor at LaGrange College in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Dr. Muller serves as the program’s clinical coordinator, where he oversees the practicum and internship experience of his graduate students. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Georgia and has extensive experience with providing family counseling services to at-risk teens and their families. Dr. Muller received his doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina in counselor education and supervision. He received his master’s degree from Valdosta State University in marriage and family therapy.
