How to connect accounts and send records in Tanner MyChart

To connect Tanner MyChart accounts, the account holder (regardless of whether they’re an adult or adolescent) must grant permission to allow others to access their records and MyChart information:
  1. Log in to your Tanner MyChart account.
  2. Find the "Sharing Hub" option under the main menu.
  3. From here, you can select who or which provider you’d like to grant access to your records. (e.g., a family member, child or someone caring for you)
    • If you care for a loved one, they must grant access to their health records from their account. To obtain access to a loved one’s records, tap the “Friends and Family Access” option at the bottom of the page and tap “invite friends and family.”
      • From the “Friends and Family Access” page, you can also see a list of who has access to your medical records and who has granted you access to view theirs.
  4. Log in to your account using your current mobile device or another smartphone.
  5. Tap the profile dropdown menu at the top right, select “Switch Accounts,” and choose whose account you want to view.
    • Tanner MyChart is a secure app that ensures your family’s health information stays safe. Account holders can remove access to their records anytime on the “Family and Friends” page.
      • Note: To sign in with another account on the same device, log out of the current account, return to the Tanner MyChart login and log in again using your credentials. To log out, open the menu and tap “Log Out.”
