Tanner’s Live Well Education Series presents

Leg Pain? It Could Be PAD.

with Rett Reeve, MD, online Dec. 8

Leg pain that goes away with rest?

Discolored toenails?

Hair loss on your legs?

Wounds that are slow to heal?

It could be peripheral artery disease, or PAD.

PAD is caused by blocked arteries in your legs. The blockages keep your legs from receiving the oxygen-rich blood they need, causing muscle pain, hair loss and making it difficult for wounds to heal.

Blocked arteries in your legs could also mean that you have blockage elsewhere, too — raising your risk for heart attacks, strokes and other complications.

Vascular specialist Rett Reeve, MD, with Tanner Vascular Surgery will discuss:

  • The symptoms of PAD
  • Screening and diagnosis
  • Evidence-based treatments

This event will be hosted via Microsoft Teams. Once you register, you will receive a link 24-hours prior to access the online webinar.

Prior to the event, make sure your audio is working so that you can hear the presentation. PC users will need to use the Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browser. Smartphone users will need to download the Microsoft Teams app prior to the event.
