Carb Counting — a free, two-hour class from Get Healthy, Live Well — focuses on empowering attendees to take control of their blood sugar by understanding how carbohydrates affect their bodies, how to find — and avoid — carb-rich foods, what foods can lower blood sugar and more.

The class is led by a registered and licensed dietitian from Tanner Health System. Topics the class addresses include:

  • Fiber and Blood Sugar Management
  • Meal Planning
  • The Plate Method
  • Alcohol and Blood Sugar
