This presentation includes an overview of common ethical multicultural issues in counseling, ethical decision-making models, and suggestions for how to best serve clients from a variety of backgrounds. This presentation provides case vignettes that illustrate a variety of multicultural ethical concerns in counseling. Muller, Ph.D., LMFT, is an assistant professor at LaGrange College in the clinical mental health counseling program. Dr. Muller serves as the program’s clinical coordinator, overseeing the practicum and internship experience of his graduate students. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Georgia and has extensive experience providing family counseling services to at-risk teens and their families. Dr. Muller earned his doctorate in counselor education and supervision from the University of South Carolina. He earned his master’s in marriage and family therapy from Valdosta State University.
