Carrollton Greenspaces

Carrollton is home to Tanner Health’s most extensive network of greenspaces, offering walking trails, healing gardens and community parks designed to support wellness, connection and time outdoors. As the location of Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, the system’s flagship hospital, the campus has been thoughtfully developed to include accessible outdoor spaces across the hospital campus, Tanner Resource Center and Tanner Health Pavilion for patients, visitors, team members and the community.

Living wall

Since welcoming its first visitors in 2019, Tanner Health Pavilion has featured a stunning living wall that celebrates the healing power of nature. Donated by Tanner Health President and CEO Loy Howard and his wife, Nola, the custom Florafelt Pocket Panel installation showcases an ever-changing tapestry of living plants and greenery. Expertly designed and cared for by a local landscape team, the wall introduces texture, color and life to the pavilion’s interior, reinforcing Tanner Health’s dedication to creating spaces that support comfort, wellness, and a positive patient experience.
