Patient Advocacy and Compliance

Patient Advocacy and Compliance

Your voice. Your rights. Your care.

Our dedicated patient experience representatives — known as patient advocates — play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care. They ensure every patient and caregiver feels supported, respected and well-informed during their healthcare journeys through effective patient advocacy.

They serve as non-clinical liaisons between patients, their families and the care team. Their mission is to protect patient rights, facilitate clear communication, and ensure a positive, respectful experience through patient advocacy efforts, all while adhering to healthcare compliance standards.

Our services:

  • Support and resources: We empower patients and caregivers with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Mediation and resolution: We address concerns promptly and work to find fair, compassionate solutions, enhancing patient-centered care.
  • Advocacy for patient rights: We ensure patients' rights are respected, including privacy, confidentiality and the right to make informed decisions.
  • Promoting a culture of safety:  We help identify safety concerns, support safe practices, and advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Feedback and improvement: We gather patient and family feedback to improve care and service quality, aligning with healthcare compliance.

Standards and Compliance

Our patient advocates help ensure compliance with key healthcare standards, including those set by The Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), which are vital for maintaining healthcare compliance.

These standards focus on patient rights, safety, and complaint resolution, ensuring high-quality care and support through patient-centered care initiatives.

If you suspect a compliance or ethical violation, we encourage you to speak up.
