The patient care teams at West Georgia Healthcare for Women and West Georgia OB/GYN are joining with Tanner Healthcare for Women in Villa Rica.
West Georgia Healthcare for Women — featuring the patient care team of Shannon Couvreur, DO; David Helton, MD; and Emily Turney, MD — are joining Amy Goss, MD; Megan Grilliot, MD; Jennifer Marshaliek, DO; and Joan Zeller, MD, from West Georgia OB/GYN in a new office suite inside the Tanner Health Pavilion in Carrollton.
Hector Caceras, MD; Ryan Davis, MD; and Tiffany Stanfill, MD, will continue to see patients at the Tanner Healthcare for Women office inside the VillaWest medical office building in Villa Rica.
Tanner Healthcare for Women will open inside the Tanner Health Pavilion on Monday, Oct. 14.
The new, combined practice will give women a larger care team and more seamless care. The practice offers comprehensive obstetrics and gynecological care, including maternity services at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica, as well as minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical solutions in each hospital’s advanced surgical services unit.
Women will also have access to the new Tanner MyChart app, with the option to request medication refills, schedule appointments, pay bills and message providers through a secure login on any internet-connected device.
Tanner Healthcare for Women is an accredited Patient-centered Specialty Practice, providing a team-based, provider-led approach to care.
The Tanner Health Pavilion, located across Dixie Street from Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, is a modern new medical facility that will offer a host of medical services, including heart and vascular office suites, primary care services, pediatric care, an outpatient pharmacy, outpatient diagnostic imaging services, the new location for Tanner Breast Health in Carrollton and more.
The project is also a regional destination for health, with park-like grounds that tie into the Carrollton GreenBelt, with a spur under construction to connect the trail network with downtown Carrollton.
The new address for Tanner Healthcare for Women at the Tanner Health Pavilion in Carrollton will be 706 Dixie Street, Suite 200.
The Villa Rica office remains at 690 Dallas Highway, Suite 301.
The two practices are joining with Tanner Healthcare for Women after two long-time pediatrics practices — Carousel Pediatrics and Children’s Healthcare of West Georgia — joined to form Tanner Healthcare for Children. That combined practice also has an office suite inside the Tanner Health Pavilion, along with offices in Villa Rica and Bremen.
