MyChart Makes Managing Your Kids’ Health Care Convenient

MyChart is a secure online tool that gives parents 24/7 access to their child’s health information.

Check out these six tips and learn how to take advantage of all MyChart has to offer:

1. Link your child’s health record to your MyChart account.

If you haven’t already, sign up for a free MyChart account. In Alabama and Georgia, children ages 12 to 18 must consent to share their medical records. After turning 18, they must set up a their own new MyChart account.

2. Keep track of important health information for each of your children.

MyChart makes it easy to keep track of important health information for each of your children, such as immunizations, growth charts and test results.

3. Message your child’s doctor.

If you have a question for your child’s doctor, MyChart makes getting answers easier. Log in to MyChart and click on the “Messages” tab to get started. MyChart lets you securely message your child’s doctor from the comfort of your own home or office.

4. Pay your child’s medical bills.

Paying your child’s medical bills is easier than ever with MyChart. You can even set up automatic payments.

5. Stay on top of your child’s checkups.

Schedule appointments with your child’s doctor quickly and easily with MyChart, and you’ll even receive appointment reminders when it’s time for your child to see the doctor.

6. Request prescription refills for your child.

Need a refill on your child’s medication? MyChart makes it easy to request prescription refills without needing an appointment.
