Marquis Griffin, MD, has joined Tanner Heart & Vascular Specialists, part of Tanner Medical Group, where he provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for patients in Carrollton. Dr. Griffin has advanced training in cardiac imaging, helping expand access to specialized heart care for patients throughout west Georgia and east Alabama.

Dr. Griffin is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta before completing his internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, followed by an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

At Tanner Heart & Vascular Specialists, Dr. Griffin provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for patients with heart disease and other cardiovascular conditions. His advanced training in cardiac imaging supports the use of sophisticated, noninvasive imaging technologies to help diagnose heart disease, evaluate heart function and develop personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Griffin is originally from Augusta and is married with two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and camping with his family.
