CARROLLTON, Ga. — Tanner Health is inviting the community to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness shirt campaign, Every Shirt Tells a Story. The campaign honors survivors, caregivers, families and everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer while encouraging conversations about early detection and routine mammograms.
The campaign also highlights Tanner's Mobile Mammography Program, which brings breast cancer screening closer to employers, community organizations and communities throughout west Georgia.
"Every shirt represents someone," said [Volunteer leader or Tanner spokesperson]. "Whether it's a loved one, a friend, a patient or your own story, we hope it encourages conversations about the importance of breast cancer screening."
Routine mammograms remain one of the most effective tools for detecting breast cancer early, often before symptoms develop. Early detection can lead to more treatment options and better outcomes. If a mammogram has been sitting on your to-do list, consider this your October reminder. Learn more about breast care.
The 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness shirts are available in:
- Short sleeve: $25
- Long sleeve: $30
- Sweatshirt: $45
Shirts are available in sizes S through 3XL and are on sale through October 2026. Place orders through the Tanner Gift Shops app or online at tannergiftshops.commentsold.com/store . Shipping is $5 per order, or you can pick up shirts at the Lamplighter Gift Shop at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.
Whether you're wearing your shirt for a survivor, a loved one or yourself, every conversation about breast cancer awareness has the potential to encourage someone to schedule a mammogram. That's the story Tanner Health hopes every shirt will help tell.
Special thanks to the Tanner Volunteers for leading this annual breast cancer awareness project.
