CARROLLTON, Ga. — Willowbrooke Psychiatric Center in Carrollton, part of Tanner Health, is pleased to welcome psychiatrist Alexandra Reischman, MD.
Dr. Reischman provides compassionate, individualized psychiatric care for adults and seniors and believes meaningful mental healthcare begins by listening. She works closely with each patient to understand their unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans that support emotional wellbeing and overall health.
Dr. Reischman earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in St. Michael, Barbados, and completed her psychiatry residency through the Medical College of Wisconsin-Central Wisconsin in Wausau. During her residency, she cared for patients in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings while participating in physician wellness initiatives, medical education and research. These experiences strengthened her commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care. At Willowbrooke Psychiatric Center, Dr. Reischman provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management and ongoing treatment for adults and seniors experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions.
In 2026, Dr. Reischman received a Recognition Award from the American Psychiatric Association.
She joins Willowbrooke Women’s Services and also supports patients through Willowbrooke Cognitive Care Center, helping expand access to specialized behavioral health services for individuals and families throughout west Georgia.
