Katiria Pintor Jimenez, MD, a board-certified pulmonology and internal medicine physician, has joined Physicians Care Group of West Georgia.
Dr. Pintor Jimenez earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and served as chief resident at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur before completing fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she also served as chief fellow. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Other than serving patients on a daily basis, she is a mom and a wife that enjoys watching rom-coms, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
At Physicians Care Group of West Georgia, Dr. Pintor Jimenez joins a patient care team that provides care for patients with a wide range of lung and respiratory conditions, as well as for critically ill patients requiring specialized treatment.
