About This Event

The 12-lead ECG and STEMI: Critical Thinking for Improved Cath Lab Activation workshop led by Tim Phalen provides unique approach designed to increase correct STEMI activation and reduce STEMI overcall.

Attendees will learn:

  • To correctly apply STEMI recognition criteria
  • To quickly rule out top STEMI imposters
  • To suspect STEMI in the presence of an imposter
  • To acquire and Interpret 15-lead ECGs
  • The OMI and STEMI equivalents
  • A model of critical thinking that integrates the patient presentation, your ECG findings and the devices statement

Speaker biography:

  • For almost 30 years, Tim Phalen has provided ECG education to 100,000+ healthcare individuals
  • Authored several ECG textbooks and articles

CE credits:
5 hours of continuing education (CE) hours applied for through the Georgia Department of Health
