Visitor Guidelines

To keep our patients, their families and support systems, and our team members safe, we ask visitors who meet any of the criteria below to postpone non-urgent in-person visitation for 10 days.

  • If you have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 10 days
  • If you have been in close contact with someone who has a Covid-19 infection
  • If you have any of the following symptoms:
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Diarrhea Fever or chills
    • Headache Nausea or vomiting
    • New body aches
    • New cough
    • New fatigue
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • New shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Sore throat

If you are here for outpatient testing that cannot be rescheduled and you meet any of the criteria above, please wear a mask during your visit and notify your care team member.

Hand hygiene remains an effective way to prevent transmission of infection. Hand sanitizer stations are available for your use throughout the organization.

Additional visitor guidelines

  • Visitors must be at least 2 years of age (unless restricted further as noted below).
  • Access to hospitals will continue to be restricted to specific entrances.


Visitation exceptions:​

Covid-19 positive patients or those under investigation

Visitation to be determined by individual circumstances. Consult a COVID-19 positive patient’s primary care nurse.

Behavioral health (Willowbrooke at Tanner)

  • All visitors must be 12 or older.

Labor and delivery/maternity

  • Patients may have three visitors at a time while in Labor and Delivery.
  • Although visitors age 2 and higher may enter the hospital, all visitors must be 12 or older to visit the Maternity Center unless they are siblings of the new baby.

Nursery and NICU

  • Patients may have two adult visitors – mom plus one – who are wearing the matching baby bracelets assigned after delivery.
  • All visitors to the nursery and NICU must wear masks.
