COVID-19 Vaccination Scheduling

Tanner is no longer holding vaccine clinics. When doing so, we followed the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) guidelines for vaccine distribution. DPH is responsible for vaccine allocation and distribution statewide. Currently, Georgia residents age 5 and older are approved for vaccination as described below:

  • The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for children age 5-11, and for teens and adults age 12 and older; it is a two-shot vaccine. Visit the CDC website for Pfizer booster shot eligibility.
  • The Moderna vaccine has been approved for adults age 18 and older; it is a two-shot vaccine.
  • The Johnson & Johnson vaccine has been approved for age 18 and older; it is a single-shot vaccine.

Making vaccination available

Earlier during the pandemic, our goal was to make COVID-19 vaccination as widely available as possible through vaccine clinics. At this time, vaccines are widely available through the state and federal resources listed below.
