Tanner COVID-19 Updates

Here, we post weekly updates on  COVID-19 statistics.

If you're looking for specific activity on a statewide basis, the Georgia Department of Public Health and Alabama Department of Public Health are sharing current information. National figures are available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and global information is available from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Current COVID-19 Figures - July 2, 2020

Tanner’s latest results on COVID-19 as of 9:05 a.m. on 7/2/2020:

Total tests performed

Positive test results

Tests awaiting results

% positive rate

The chart below shows total positive tests per day, including multiple tests done on the same patient.

The numbers reported by Tanner reflect cases that have been tested and/or treated within our health system, regardless of the county of patient origin. It does not include any tests performed by the local health department, government agencies or non-Tanner affiliated clinics. These figures may not reflect Georgia Department of Public Health figures, which are reported by county.

We’re providing these figures as a public service because we believe in transparency and providing our neighbors with the information they need.

It’s vital that we continue to do all we can to limit the spread of the virus. Continue to practice hand hygiene, wear a mask, avoid group gatherings and follow the CDC and WHO for the latest information on COVID-19. Together, we make this a safer community for our friends and loved ones.
