Professional and non-clinical positions
Do you have great customer service skills, visionary leadership, or an interest in technology? These positions might involve face time with patients and their loved ones, as well as typing, filing, answering phones, coordinating schedules and more. Some of these positions are also in departments that are not directly involved with patient care, like marketing, community outreach and human resources.
Non-clinical positions do not usually require direct patient care, but often involve contact with patients. A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required, and some may require additional training. Food production techs, environmental services staff, engineering staff and phlebotomists are among the opportunities in this field.

Allied health and clinical support positions
Diagnostic imaging technologists, respiratory therapists, medical lab technologists and pharmacists are just a few of the allied health opportunities at Tanner. These careers usually require specialized training, licensure and registration. Clinical support positions often don’t require advanced degrees or certifications, but still allow you to help us provide great patient care. These are often “technician” positions that support clinical staff, like unit secretaries and patient transport.
We also have opportunities for clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors to join the most robust inpatient and outpatient behavioral health program in Georgia.
