Cancer is never an easy fight, but Tanner Cancer Care is building a better experience at the region’s premier cancer center.Tanner Cancer Care is expanding the Roy Richards, Sr. Cancer Center in Carrollton with more exam rooms, public spaces, better amenities and an unprecedented experience for our patients and their loved ones.And change takes time.In the coming weeks and months, our construction teams will be making substantial changes to our cancer center with a focus on minimal disruption to your care.At no time during this project will you miss a treatment due to construction.During construction, radiation therapy patients will enter through the West Georgia Specialty Center and turn left through the West Georgia Infusion Center for radiation treatments. Some will take the elevators to the third floor for Tanner Radiation Oncology consultations and follow-ups with our radiation oncologists. Free valet parking in front of the West Georgia Specialty Center will be available. Follow the signs along Clinic Avenue and Ambulance Drive. Looking aheadFollowing construction on the front of the cancer center, work will begin expanding the rear of the facility and installing a new state-of-the-art linear accelerator.The new space and technology will allow Tanner Cancer Care to serve even more people and continue to adhere to our Tanner Cancer Care Promise: 3 Days From Diagnosis to Treatment Options, giving all referred patients their treatment options as quickly as possible.
