A message from Tanner Healthcare for Children

We are committed to serving our community and promoting the health and safety of our patients.

We’ve adopted the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics, screening patients over the phone and in our lobby before visits to decrease exposures to COVID-19 among our patients and staff.

We also changed our schedules to allow well patients to be seen only in the mornings, reserving sick visits for the afternoon.

Tanner Healthcare for Children encourages children to continue well-child examinations and immunizations. Continuing immunizations is vital to protecting children from preventable diseases.

If you feel that you or your child may have the symptoms of or have been exposed to COVID-19, please contact us before you arrive so we can take precautions to limit contact with other visitors and staff.

At Tanner Healthcare for Children, your child receives the support of a regional health system.

We offer inpatient care in our specialized pediatrics unit at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, coordinate routine procedures through our surgical care centers in Carrollton and Villa Rica, round on newborns at our maternity centers, schedule imaging services at four regional hospitals and provide weekend and after-hours care through our three regional Tanner Urgent Care practices.

Hours

All locations are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. All patients are seen by appointment only.

Because health problems do not always occur during normal business hours, Tanner Healthcare for Children in Carrollton offers a Saturday clinic on Saturdays from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Appointments can be made by calling 770-812-8640 on the Saturday that your child needs to be seen.
