Internal Medicine of Villa Rica
Primary Care is Our Primary Concern
Problems like high blood pressure and diabetes can sneak up on anyone, even if they appear to be fit and feel healthy. These problems can lead to serious health conditions that can have a major impact on a person’s quality of life. High blood pressure can lead to kidney failure, and both high blood pressure and diabetes can lead to heart disease.
This is why prevention is so important. Regular screenings can detect problems before they become real issues. For those who have already developed health problems, having a knowledgeable, professional physician to treat them is all the more important.
Internal medicine physicians, or internists, specialize in the treatment and prevention of adult health problems. Your internist treats a wide range of common and complex medical conditions found in adults, including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders and arthritis.
You take your health seriously, and you need a physician who takes your health seriously, too.
