Pastoral care in your time of need
At Tanner Health System we realize that a hospital stay can be a frightening, anxious and lonely experience. During this time of need, Tanner offers pastoral care, which provides spiritual and emotional support to our patients, as well as to their families and friends.
Our chaplains are trained to help bring together the spiritual components for patients to experience healing, health and hope. They are here to aid you in your spiritual and emotional recovery, and to help you lead a more fulfilling life.
Our chaplains seek to perform religious rituals appropriate to the faith background of our patients. If the chaplain cannot perform a ritual, an appropriate clergy member will be located, if possible.
If you desire a visit from your minister, we ask you to either contact your pastor directly, or ask the hospital chaplain to contact your pastor for you.
Chaplains are available at all times
