A Community Recipe for Support: Tanner Hospice Food Sale Raises More than $14,000

With outstanding support from the community, Tanner Hospice Care’s 27th Annual Holiday Food Sale raised $14,263 to the care of the terminally ill throughout west Georgia. This represented an increase of more than $3,000 from the year before to help supplement patient care expenses such as medications, supplies and medical care. Tanner Hospice Care volunteers and staff hosted the annual food sale at First Baptist Church in Carrollton. Delicious pies, savory sides and other homemade goods were prepared by more than 400 local chefs and brought to First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church of Bremen, Fullerville Baptist Church and Bowdon First United Methodist Church.
