Dr. Benefield formerly practiced at Southeast Women’s Center in Smithfield, N.C., and Clayton, N.C. She earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from the Georgia Campus – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Ga., and a certificate in biomedical sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. She earned her bachelor’s in applied biology at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
