Tanner Health System is committed to Advancing Health by delivering high-quality care and patient safety. Ensuring that every patient receives the best possible clinical outcome and experience is the hallmark of how we deliver medicine beyond measure for you and your family.
Our commitment to quality and safety is shared by the more than 300 physicians on our medical staff, as well as our many nurses, techs, staff and administration. We measure our quality of care and patient safety by how well we compare to national standards and how well we meet your expectations.
Quality of care can be measured in many ways, and unfortunately, there is no one method that is universally agreed upon as the standard. For that reason, we’ve provided links to the quality and safety information available from two of the top sources of independent quality information. Both will provide you with easy-to-understand information on how Tanner compares to other hospitals and provide a framework for you to judge our quality for yourself:
Hospital Compare - Hospital Compare was created through the efforts of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in collaboration with organizations representing consumers, hospitals, doctors, employers, accrediting organizations and other federal agencies. It contains information about the quality of care at more than 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals across the country, including Tanner Health System hospitals.
