Harmony for Healing Music Therapy Performance

Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton
John H. Burson III, MD, Atrium

December 8, 2018  |  10:00 AM  -  10:30 AM

Carrollton Girl Scout troop #50014 performs Christmas carols and songs as part of Tanner Health System’s Harmony for Healing music therapy program. Their song selections include “Deck the Halls,” “Silent Night” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” This troop meets at Central Elementary School and has 39 active girls ranging in age from five to 14 years old. They love serving others in their community, especially people who may be experiencing tough times during the holiday season.

All Harmony for Healing performances are held in the John H. Burson III, MD, Atrium on the first floor of Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, facing Dixie Street, and are free to the public. Unless otherwise noted, all volunteer performers are from the west Georgia area. The music therapy program is funded through gifts to Tanner Medical Foundation. Proceeds are used to continue Harmony for Healing performances with the goal of hiring a full-time music therapist. For more information about the program, please contact Tanner Medical Foundation at 770.812.GIFT (770-812-4438).
