ICU Care

Donations help to maintain the Tanner Intensive Care Unit and its state-of-the-art critical care technology and equipment. The 17,000-square-foot, $5 million ICU at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, completed in 2003, was a very important step toward the current construction of Tanner Heart Center in Carrollton.

Statistics show that there is clearly a need for a quality, accessible, comprehensive cardiovascular program for the people of Carrollton and the surrounding west Georgia area. Currently under construction and scheduled for completion in the spring of 2008, Tanner Heart Center will house a comprehensive cardiovascular continuum of care designed to address the areas of prevention, early detection, intervention, disease management and treatment, and rehabilitation.
