Donations to Heartbeat program benefit Tanner patients and employees

Since the Heartbeat program began in 1993, the employees of Tanner Health System have supported the employee-giving program through voluntary donations from their paychecks. Half of each employee’s donation goes to the humanitarian fund to assist employees in times of crisis. The other half of the donation goes to either the indigent care fund, cancer care fund or general program/equipment fund, as chosen by the employee.

Over the years, Heartbeat has funded many worthwhile programs and projects benefiting Tanner patients and employees. In addition, hundreds of employees have been assisted through the humanitarian fund with crises ranging from a devastating house fire to a tragic accident or illness in the family.
