Heart Care

With statistics showing that heart disease is claiming so many lives in our community, the need was clear for Tanner’s development of a quality, accessible, comprehensive cardiovascular program for Carrollton and the surrounding west Georgia region. Cardiac patients need to be able to receive necessary healthcare near their homes, rather than traveling outside the community.

Tanner Heart Center opened in February 2008 at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton and encompasses expanded services and a full continuum of cardiovascular care under one roof, addressing the areas of prevention, early detection, intervention, disease management and treatment, and rehabilitation.
