Heart Care

With statistics showing that heart disease is claiming so many lives in our community, the need was clear for Tanner’s development of a quality, accessible, comprehensive cardiovascular program for Carrollton and the surrounding west Georgia region. Cardiac patients need to be able to receive necessary healthcare near their homes, rather than traveling outside the community.

Tanner Heart Center is presently under construction at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton. Upon completion in 2008, Tanner Heart Center will encompass expanded services and a full continuum of cardiovascular care under one roof on the Carrollton campus, addressing the areas of prevention, early detection, intervention, disease management and treatment, and rehabilitation.
