After months of preparations, Tanner Medical Foundation’s 23rd annual Magnolia Ball took place on Saturday, April 27. Under the direction of the 2013 co-chairs Cindy Denney and Jennifer Green, more than 200 volunteers brought the theme, “Apodrasi se Santorini” (Escape to Santorini), to life.
The Magnolia Ball theme was inspired by the wondrous Greek island of Santorini, steeped in myth and poetic beauty. In addition to decorations and auction volunteers, more than 300 individuals and companies are supporting the ball through sponsorships, cash donations, donated auction items and in-kind services.
Proceeds from the Magnolia Ball helps provide funding for the latest technology and equipment along with new facilities and programs that bring the best of healthcare to this region. This would not be possible without the support and leadership of many in our community.
Tanner Medical Foundation is grateful to the 2013 Honorary Chairs, Executive Committee and Sponsors for their support in making the 2013 Magnolia Ball an inspiring success.
Proceeds from the 2013 event benefited the new Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, which guides patients on their journey back from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and other conditions requiring them to re-learn how to perform everyday tasks.
Members of the public wishing to make a donation in support of the Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit may contact Tanner Medical Foundation at 770.812.GIFT (770-812-4438).
