Free Mental Health and Substance Abuse Screenings and Assessments

Free and confidential mental health and substance abuse screenings are available to individuals of all ages. Screenings can be scheduled in any of Willowbrooke at Tanner’s offices in Carrollton, Villa Rica or Newnan, Monday through Friday. For patients in crisis, screenings are available in any of the Tanner Health System emergency departments, 24 hours a day. In some cases, your screening could be conducted over the phone with a Willowbrooke at Tanner crisis counselor who may make recommendations for immediate treatment.

A mental health clinician will work with you and/or your family to determine the treatment that is right for you, either through Willowbrooke at Tanner or in coordination with other qualified community services. Tanner offers an extensive list of community services for referral, all approved to meet organizational performance and quality standards, in addition to our own extensive list of programs and treatment options. Willowbrooke at Tanner will help you decide the best referral for your unique needs, as well as verify your insurance benefits for you (if applicable) and make sure that the recommended treatment is covered by your plan.

All individuals must complete a mental health and substance abuse screening before being admitted to any Willowbrooke at Tanner program. The purpose of the screening is to make sure that you are referred to the correct treatment program and level of care for your individualized need.
