The Carrollton Civic Woman’s Club President Linda Camp presented the $2,422 check to Tanner Medical Foundation representatives Mary Busby, interim director, and Carla Duncan, donor relations coordinator, along with CCWC members Nancy Tunnell, co-chair of the Home Life Community Service Program, and Susan Smith, chair of the fall salad luncheon schedule for October 7 that also supports Choirs for Cancer. During the past four years, CCWC has contributed more than $19,000 to the program that raises funds to help local cancer patients with medication, treatment and expenses related to their cancer care. The 5th annual Choirs for Cancer concert will take place on Nov. 13 at the Joshua R. Mabry Center for the Arts at Carrollton High School.
Choirs for Cancer proceeds assist local cancer patients with the unexpected costs of battling cancer, including treatment, medication and other expenses related to their cancer care.
