Partial Hospitalization

A Treatment Bridge

For people who feel unable to cope with everyday life but are not in danger of harming themselves or others, partial hospitalization can be a haven of help and hope. This type of treatment is also designed for patients who are moving from impatient care back into the community.

Willowbrooke at Tanner offers the following partial hospitalization programs (PHPs). Click to learn more:

The partial hospitalization program is designed for two types of patients: those who maintain themselves in the community at a minimum-to-moderate level of functioning and present no imminent harm to themselves or others, and those who are making the transition from inpatient care back into the community.

The hours for PHP are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, for adults with a behavioral health diagnosis or a behavioral health diagnosis with chemical dependency issues. During the regular school year, the child and adolescent program's hours are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. During the summer months, the program hours are adjusted to 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Transportation and meals are provided to patients in all partial hospitalization programs.

If you or a loved one may benefit from one of these partial hospitalization programs, please call our 24-hour help line at 770.836.9551.
