Honoring Tanner Babies through the First Impressions program
The first tiny footprint recorded after a newborn’s birth is priceless. That’s what makes Tanner’s First Impressions program so special. With a donation of $150, families and friends may commemorate a Tanner baby’s birth with a silver footprint medallion, which is placed in the First Impressions Gallery at the W. Steve Worthy Maternity Center at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton or the Maternity Center at Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica. The donor also receives his or her choice of either a silver medallion or glass ornament with the baby’s footprint and birth date imprinted.
From parents to grandparents, aunts, uncles and employers, the First Impressions program has become a popular gift-giving idea to honor Tanner babies. Footprint medallions are mounted on the wall near the nursery viewing area in the maternity centers of each hospital.
Each year, more than 1,700 babies are born at Tanner Health System. These babies represent the future of our families and our community. What a wonderful way to welcome them to the world!
Support Tanner’s maternity centers and also honor a Tanner baby by ordering a footprint medallion.
