Heart disease is the leading cause of death in west Georgia and east Alabama. To address this threat to the health of area residents, Tanner has developed an advanced, comprehensive cardiac program. Area residents now have local access to state-of-the-art diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, thanks to community support for Tanner’s heart care program.
Tanner Heart and Vascular Center opened in February 2008 at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton. It offers expanded services and a full continuum of cardiovascular care under one roof, addressing the areas of prevention, early detection, intervention, disease management and treatment, and rehabilitation.
