Outpatient imaging often requires some form of preparation. Your physicians will provide instructions on what may be needed for a particular test. Patients with questions should call the location where the test is scheduled.

Diagnostic imaging services require a physician’s order before an appointment can be made. Once a physician prepares an order, you can call Tanner Central Scheduling at 770.836.9721 to make an appointment at any of Tanner’s diagnostic imaging centers.
If you have a question about a diagnostic imaging procedure, you may seek advice and answers by calling the hospital where you had your procedure performed. Please keep in mind that the technologist who conducted the procedure cannot make a diagnosis. A radiologist will have to examine the images and pass his or her findings on to the physician who ordered the procedure.
