Harmony for Healing Music Therapy Performance

Pianist Jan Adams performs piano favorites including selections by composer Henry Mancini as part of Tanner Health System’s Harmony for Healing music therapy program. Adams is the accompanist for the Carrollton Community Chorus, a position she has held for 30 years, as well as the staff accompanist at the University of West Georgia, a position she has held for 15 years. A Nationally Certified Teacher of Piano, she has taught piano lessons in Carrollton for 35 years. All Harmony for Healing performances are held in the John H. Burson III, MD, Atrium on the first floor of Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, facing Dixie Street, and are free to the public. Unless otherwise noted, all performers are from the west Georgia area. The music therapy program is funded through gifts to Tanner Medical Foundation. Proceeds are used to continue Harmony for Healing performances with the goal of hiring a full-time music therapist.
